(Easton, MD) August 4, 2016 - The Texas Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has selected Delmarva Foundation to provide Person-Centered Program Training for those providing supports and services to individuals with intellectual or Disabilities and Aging in the state. The company also offers training in other key areas vital to the implementation and sustainability of person-centered practices.

“Our programs are deeply rooted in the philosophies of person‐centeredness, community integration, and the promotion of choice and independence,” said Bob Foley, Senior Vice President of Delmarva Foundation’s Intellectual and Disabilities and Aging Programs. “We have the capacity to train others to embrace this approach using highly qualified staff—including nine Person‐Centered Thinking Trainers certified through The Learning Community.”

The Texas DHHS will provide a link on their website to access Delmarva Foundation’s Texas Training site. There clients can get more information about the training and contact representatives to arrange for training.
