Easton, MD (May 10, 2012) — Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, Inc. (Delmarva Foundation) has named Linda Oliver Vice President for External Quality Review.

Oliver, an RN who holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, will lead operations for the Delmarva Foundation's external quality review (EQR) contracts. "Our goal is to assist states as they move their Medicaid populations into new initiatives brought about by healthcare reform," she said. "We strive to help the states reach their goals."

In support of its EQR contracts, Delmarva Foundation reviews managed care organizations' structure and operations, evaluates performance improvement projects, and validates performance measures. Some state contracts may also include data collection and analysis for focused clinical studies.

During her 18 years with Delmarva Foundation, Oliver has been involved in many areas of quality improvement and review, including community health improvement projects and long term care. She returns to the VP for EQR position after spending the past two years gaining experience in healthcare fraud and abuse as well as utilization management for the organization.

Oliver is a certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ) and a project management professional. Before joining Delmarva Foundation, she worked at Anne Arundel Medical Center for 18 years in a variety of clinical settings.
